Leaked NIA Intelligence Report Hints About A Possible Uprising In The Gambia; Jammeh Designs A Scheme To End UDP'S Political Career!

The NIA DG Captain Lamin Saine and his Deputy Yankuba Badjie have succeeded in convincing our foolish President Yahya Jammeh that the survival of his dying regime largely depends onto what extent he can crackdown on the main opposition UDP. The NIA has concluded that an opposition uprising is likely to take place in the Gambia, in view of the nation’s economic crunch. We have started witnessing rice shortage and other basic commodities in the market. Local importers have complained about lack of foreign exchange to order rice.

Due to the regime’s declining credit ratings, most banks here are not comfortable issuing letter of credit to facilitate the importation of food stuffs from overseas. Some of the banks don’t even have the cash at hand to cater for their customers needs.

Given the country’s cash shortage, characterized by an erratic electricity cuts, massive unemployment, delays in paying workers salaries, declining national reserves, low per capita income, and lack of sufficient budget to run the government, an NIA intelligence report intercepted by one of our agents suggest that there is a growing public frustration and dissatisfaction against the status quo in the Gambia. The fear culture is fading away. People have started speaking openly against the regime.

Hamat Bah says Commonwealth pull-out not in Gambia’s interest

Tuesday, October 08, 2013
Gambia’s shock withdrawal from the Commonwealth last week continues to receive reactions from across the nation and the world, with Hamat Bah, leader of the opposition National Reconciliation Party (NRP) describing the move as not in the best interest of the Gambian people.

In a statement issued late on Wednesday, the Government of the Gambia announced that the country was withdrawing from the Commonwealth of Nations with immediate effect.

‘‘Government has withdrawn its membership of the British Commonwealth and decided that The Gambia will never be a member of any neo-colonial institution, and will never be a party to any institution that represents an extension of Colonialism,’’ the statement said, without elaborating further.

Govt’s position on the relentless smear campaign against The Gambia

Monday, October 07, 2013

The Government of The Gambia has reacted to the relentless smear campaign against the country and its people orchestrated by some Western powers using selfish Gambians and non-Gambians.

In a televised address on Friday evening on behalf of the government, the secretary general, head of the Civil Service and the minister of Presidential Affairs, Momodou Sabally, said that government has been following events with utter dismay since 1994.

The message also stressed that the Gambia Government stands for three things; the worship of Allah and our total submission to HIS WILL; to ensure that The Gambia will never be recolonised in whatever form or manifestation and The Gambia will never be enslaved again.

The Government of The Gambia has revealed that its decision to withdraw from the Commonwealth of Nations is final and not subject to negotiation. In a press release issued by the Office of the President Monday, the dispatch added that the Gambia wished to inform allies that there is no point sending special envoys to Banjul to reconsider this decision.

Below is the full text of the release.

Gambia accuses Britain, US of smear campaign

Africa » Gambia

Monday, October 07, 2013

The Gambian government on Friday accused Washington and former colonial power Britain of leading a “shameless campaign of lying” against it.

In a statement read on GRTS by the Secretary General and Head of the Civil Service who is also Minister of Presidential Affairs, Momodou Sabally, the government lashed out at its “enemies” whom, it said, had concocted lies about its human rights record.

The statement said Britain and the United States had backed “so-called Gambians to set up organisations and media facilities to spread nothing but lies against The Gambia by making false, outrageous and unfounded statements about the state of human rights.”

Gambians Reject Jammeh’s Decision’s To Withdraw The Gambia From The Commonwealth!

Gambians Reject Jammeh’s Decision’s To Withdraw The Gambia From The Commonwealth!

Gambians both at home and abroad have vehemently rejected dictator Yahya Jammeh’s unilateral move to withdraw the country from the Commonwealth. The rejection came in the wake of Jammeh’s recent declaration that he is pulling out Gambia’s name from the global body—Commonwealth. A senior government official, who spoke to the Freedom Newspaper cautions that unless Gambians and the world are aware of the fact that Yahya Jammeh is insane they will cease to be amazed by his dumb and foolish decisions.

MANY WILL BE LEFT UTTERLY DISMAYED, ANGRY AND BETRAYED BY A PARTY THAT HAS MORE MANDINKA FOLLOWERS THAN ANY OTHER TRIBES

MANY WILL BE LEFT UTTERLY DISMAYED, ANGRY AND BETRAYED BY A PARTY THAT HAS MORE MANDINKA FOLLOWERS THAN ANY OTHER TRIBES

By Ba Matarr Jaiteh, UK

Many will be left utterly dismayed, angry and betrayed by a Party that has more Mandinka followers than any other tribes. Only to single out the Mandinka's with grotesque accusations of playing tribal politics that in a wider view will be considered by many as ill-advised, unnecessary and distasteful. Bizarrely enough, the message was even read out by a Mandinka man, playing the vicious little monkey leading the parade on national television - But we all know the main organ grinder behind all these. Throughout the half an hour long broadcast, Mr. Sabally's body language suggest all but ease and comfort. Visibly embarrassed by having to rip into his own skin. That makes it fundamentally flawed, so to speak. A classic case of political manipulation gone too far. Morally unjustifiable and a willful incitement of ethnic tension.

Monday, October 07, 2013

The Gambian leader, His Excellency Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya Jammeh Saturday afternoon received in audience at State House, the special envoy of His Excellency Goodluck Jonathan, president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Minister Mohammad described the meeting as successful, while highlighting the many shared values the two countries have.

SG Momodou Sabally Brands The UDP As A Mandingka Group; Says Mandingkas Will Never Rule The Gambia!

SG Momodou Sabally read a statement issued by The Gambia Government branding the UDP as a Mandingka group; calls the US; UK as racist nations; Says The Mandingka group will never rule The Gambia; says the West is funding online papers and the opposition to overthrow his regime!

Folks:

SG Momodou Sabally has just finished reading a strongly worded statement charged with tribal undertones; racial slurs against the West and so on. Can anyone help me with the video? The statement was in reaction to what the regime calls so called asylum seekers. Saihou Mballow, Assan Martin's names appeared on the statement. This is a disturbing statement. It will no doubt going to cause a diplomatic rift between Banjul and western nations accredited to The Gambia. It is a thirty minute speech characterized by anti western bashing. This is a dying regime that is desperately looking for trouble.
