Friday, September 20, 2013The Point has learnt through reliable sources that Baboucarr Sanyang, Managing Director of the national telecommunications company, Gamtel, has been removed from his position.Though no reason(s) was advanced to this paper as to his removal, sources said this development took effect on Tuesday.
Sanyang replaced Jamal Micknas as Gamtel MD in June 2011.
Reports of Sanyang’s detention were however rife at the time of going to press, with sources saying that he was detained since on Monday.
